A New Fall Season Beginning with RE/MAX Preferred

A New Fall Season Is Almost Here

Autumn also known as Fall, is one of the four temperate seasons. This season marks the transition from summer to winter, in September or March.

That is when the duration of daylight becomes noticeably shorter and the temperature cools considerably.

Autumn is a reminder that Mother Nature influences our lives whether we realize it or not.

Therefore, Autumn can also be a personal time for self-reflection, awareness and mindfulness. The 5 Symbolic Meanings of Autumn will attest to that fact.

Autumn Relates to Change

The Greek Philosopher Heraclitus said it best.  “The ONLY constant in life is CHANGE.”

Just as sure as the multi-colored leaves will fall during the Autumn season, thus our lives constantly change because of the environment, our surroundings and our daily lifestyle.

Our body, mind and spirit are always developing.

By comparison, when summer “play time” is behind us and Autumn leaves start to fall, we begin to focus on the reality of life.

Fall Season Creates Mystery

The change in the Autumn air brings in new challenges and new mysteries to our lives. The colored falling leaves personify this process and leaves a mysterious image of what is to come in the New Year.

Autumn Creates a Sense of Self-Preservation

Autumn offers an opportunity to reconnect with ourselves as we preserve our safe havens. Like animals, we prepare for winter by harvesting fruits and vegetables in order to make “comfort food” for winter.

We think about creating a clean, comforting home to nestle into once the temperature drops.

Autumn Evokes Self-Protection

Autumn makes us reflect on our comfort zone.  We begin to think about taking out those cozy lap throws, scarves, wearing layers and thicker fabrics all in preparation for the cold season that is to come.

Many of us “up” our eating habits without realizing it. We crave warm soups, cider, hot chocolate and delicious apple pie, our comfort foods.

Autumn Says, “Let Go!”

Watching the warm colored leaves fall gives the illusion that they are “letting go of the past” warm season and preparing for the start of a new season, this creates…A New Beginning.

RE/MAX is Your New Beginning

So, where are we going with all this?

Time to face reality.  The vacation is over!

Today is the tomorrow you put off yesterday.

Have you been working all summer in that dead-end job? Were you muddling through the summer just so you can get your vacation time in? It’s no fun going to work everyday when you are not in your “happy place “.
